Core Elements are the 10 primary elemental types used throughout Survival gameplay. They define how damage is calculated and which combat effects trigger during battle.
Core Elements appear across nearly every combat encounter in HoloCraft. You'll encounter them through:
Understanding elemental strengths and weaknesses is essential to building an effective loadout, whether you're farming daily bosses or clearing high-difficulty dungeons.
Damage dealt in combat is modified according to elemental strengths and weaknesses. Attacking an enemy with an element they are weak against increases the damage dealt, while attacking with an element they resist reduces it.
For example, Kiryu Coco is a Flame-element boss. She is weak against Wind and resistant to Flame, making Wind-based loadouts the preferred choice when facing her.
Each of the 10 Core Elements carries its own unique combat effect that can trigger during battle. These effects range from crowd‑control to damage‑over‑time, and their potency can be increased through accessory stats such as Effect Strength, Effect Duration and Effect Range.
These effects are chance-based, the probability of activating the effect is affected by your Effect Chance stat, which you can only acquire via accessories (Reworked Version). Additionaly, bosses respond differently to these effects, some resist certain elemental strengths or even nullify specific effects, so tailoring your build to a boss's weaknesses can dramatically boost your effectiveness.
Rendering: Elemental Status Effects table is being loaded...
Colored text in status effects means they are scalable by the Elemental Status Effect Stats. For example: Green =
PrepExpoZ_19Scaled by Effect Duration.
Warning: Void status effect consumes a portion of the user's own HP each time it triggers. Manage your health carefully when using Void-focused builds!
When the enemy receives a debuff from Status Effects, an indicator will be displayed on top of their name tag. Below is an example of Blind [💫] debuff.
4 new stats have been added to increase the efficiency of Status Effects, as of now players can only acquire these stats via accessories (Reworked Version).
| Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Effect Chance | Increases the chance an elemental status effect activates. |
| Effect Strength | Increases the potency of triggered elemental status effects. |
| Effect Duration | Increases how long elemental status effects last. |
| Effect Range | Increases the area or spread distance of elemental status effects. |
